The little prince

Well, if you ask me for a book that I can recomended, this is ¨The little Prince¨ of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. It´s a book anachronistic and anyone can read this book. It´s a short book and the story it´s about one little prince that live in a little asteriode called B612 with just a little flower. He passed all the time taking care of his planet and cutting the trees called baobabs because to allow them to grow, they would distroy the paneta in pieces with his roots. In general, this was the life of a little prince until one day he goes away of his planet maybe tired of the reproaches of the flower and travel for differents planets.......

Back To The Future I, II, III.................

The film Back to the Future is maybe one of the best movies that I saw. I remember when I saw for the first time I had seven or eight years and I saw in channel 7 with my older sister in my older house. Back to the Future is a Robert Zemeckis film – the director of Forrest Gump –. The movie is of science fiction. The story is a trilogy and is about a crazy scientific – protagonized for Christopher Lloyd - that invents a time machine and for an accident his friend and parent Marty McFly take a time machine and travel to the past. There he finds to his young parents and Marty began to live a lot adventures for that his parents know themselves. The second part is about the travel of Emmet Brown and Marty to the future and the third part is when Emmet remains caught in the Distant West and Marty McFly must be to go rescuing it of the past.......

Geographer for by chance ............. but, ...........(correction)

The future is of us............

Well, the truth is that I began studying geography after I took the test PSU twice. Initially I wanted to study journalism and the career of geography I put it in third option, but I didn’t reach the points to study journalism so, I began to study geography. In the beginning, I was very difficult and I felt that I was in the career mistaken and almost everyday I thought in change of career but with the past of tense I realized that I was searching I had found in the time that was going in the career, so, in the present I project myself how geographer in the future probably joining some elements of the two careers. Well, if you ask to me how I would met in ten years more, I think that working in the National Geographic magazine, writing articles about physical geography and with a lot money, jaja I hope for it. I think that geographers have a lot of tools and knowledge to face the various problems that there are, because in the present the world needs people with a humanist and scientific vision. But I see that there are some elements that are absent in the geographer´s formation such as the way of communicating orally and in written form, how to do studies and research with scientific base, but especially we have a commitment with society, with people and with humanity……

Tiqui, tiqui, ti.............

Well, the Fiestas Patrias is the better of the year. It's a date very special because it's celebrated the First Reunion of Government and for this reason is a date very happy for all. Also, because every 18 of September it's celebrated with "empanadas", "chicha", barbecues and many "cueca", it's a wonderfull date. Every year, my mum cooks "empanadas" and with my family we met and made a barbecue the 19 of September while we see "The Militar Parade" al years is the same, is a tradicion. I remember that before when I was a child I was living near to O'Higgins Park and for this date with my sisters and father went to "Fondas" and with my father flew a kite in the "elipse", also I remember that in my school with my classmates we were doing plays and competitions of spinning top, race in sack, careers, greasy stick and other tradicionals plays, it was entertained. In fact, the best 18 was a year when arrived my grandfathers of south with my uncles and cousins. I remember that we went to "Fondas" of O'Higgins Park and we ate and drank a lot, I remember that was the first time that I tasted "chicha".

Today with luck, I dance "cueca" but the feel is the same to celebrate with the family and friends this important date for all chileans.

Of return of the future..................

Well, if I had a machine to travel to the future in 5 years more I would like to meet like that: After of finish the University, I am working or studying out of Chile. I would like to go away to living through France, especially to Paris. Why? Because always I have liked Paris, since child. I think that it’s a beautiful country with surprising landscapes and with a lot history, an excellent food and beautiful woman, among other things.

Paris his capital, it has a special captivation, it’s full of corners and places attractive and full of life with small streets and colouring houses, there are many places where to be able to walk, sit down, be able to converse and then take a coffee. Well, in fact for many people this one has been the city of the eternal love and of the bohemian life maybe because Paris always has been full of poets, musicians, writers and a lot artists. I think that is an excellent city for to know.

Here I meet working in some University or Institute of Investigation of France in Geography and writing for some magazine, jaja and with a lot money, a Harley – Davidson, with a spectacular department and married a French jaja, Well, I hope. No, I meet calm, travelling very much and doing what I like and with a woman to my side…………….. I hope that it’s not great to ask, ja………

Learning English: My Experience

The Englishman's first teacher that I had was in the primary school. I had a teacher woman who had about 65 years old. I remember that the classes were very bored and large. We were behaving very badly and in an opportunity to the teacher it gave a nervous attack him by fault our, so that during the rest of year we remained without teacher of English. In general, the first years I didn´t learn almost nothing, just the names of some animals and the verb to be, jaja.

After, in my other school was worse, in fact two years I reproved the subject. I remember that we had a book of English that called “Your Turn” and it was very boring but it had something good that was the stories of the book and the songs, jaja I remember that always we were singing in the class, really was a joke. Also, in the school we had French classes, those who were much more entertained, in fact the French language it was much easier to learn and interesting, in fact today I would like to learn also French apart from English.

I remember that of all my teachers, just I remember to Madmoiselle Estrella Méndez that was our teacher of French, she was really a “madame” , she was very elegant and refined and very nice and maternal with us, I remember that almost always she was using a beret that was giving her a very French style.

For me, the French language is easier for to learn that the English language maybe for the terrible experiences that I had in the school, jaja. In fact, before beginning to study in the University my English was very poor. In general, everything what I have learned has been from seeing movies, listening to music and reading sometimes some things in English, but specially thank you to Mr. Simon that He has been the first teacher to whom I him deal and he is the only person with whom I can practice English, in fact his classes are very playful and entertaining and I feel that the classes have been very successful for me, well such as it says the saying “more it is worth learning late that never”………jaja

Nowadays we live in Maipu but before I lived in Santiago District, where I studied the primary and the secondary school before of enter to University to study the career of Geography, in fact when I changed house I stopped seeing some friends and even today I miss my old neighborhood, but maybe the worse thing was that I didn´t see nevermore to my friend that lived near to my house, I remeber that always I went to house her and played with she.

I can say that the best period was the school. I remember when I was in the secondary school I smoked my first cigarettes and I had my first drinking session, ja was wonderfull and very cool. I remember that played soccer everyday with my classmates with a poor plastic ball in the playground "Calama" and often with some friends we were absconding from the school and were going to some places in Santiago Centre such as Eurocentro, Bustamante and Almagro Park, the neighborhood San Diego and the University of Chile Station of Subway and some times we were going to coffee with legs, jaja. I remember that when could was buying myself books in San Diego Street, in this time me much liked to read and other times when I didn´t have money It was selling them.

I remember that I liked to play voleiball in the school and ping - pong, in fact with my friends we were passing entire evenings playing ping - pong in the school. We were spending very well, in fact even I go sometimes to the neighborhood San Diego but almost all bookshops have closed or have gone away are almost dead this places, only it stays the shop "Orange Discs" whose owner an old man was recording discs from vinilos, in fact even I have this cassettes jaja...........................
